Quick and dirty tip!

I guess everybody knows what I am talking about, it's a temporary solution of a permanent crisis! Do you see the problem? It cannot be happen, no temporary solution cannot solve a permanent problem! Why? A permanent problem has an important feature: it gonna be with you forever. Now you can solve this types of problem periodically. Some people solve it periodically and they keep doing it until the very end. I prefer the other option. Solve it permanently. Usually permanent solutions require bigger effort and greater patience. Still once it is solved, it is solved forever. I believe both approaches have their own pros and cons. 

Personally I hate solving the same problem again and again. That's why I hate quick and dirty tip. Quick and dirty works but the problem is, it works for very short period of time. Sometime even worse, it causes long time damage! how? Paul Graham once said, "doing fake things is worse than doing nothing." I found it as a very useful tip in my life. Quick and dirty tip is like doing fake things and in long run it creates an illusion of real things. That's a very harmful situation! You don't have any real job and you are thinking you have; you spend all your time on fake jobs and no time to look for real job. 

We often forget there is another very limited resource called time. If we spend most of our time on fake things we cannot have time for real things; even worse we cannot have time to look for real things. Personally every time I tried a shortcut I encounter a greater damage. So I believe those are not for me. I better wait for proper way of doing things.

Florida Road trip (Day III)

Initial plan was to visit Orlando possibly universal studio but then we decided we will visit all famous beached of Atlantic coast of Florida. However we could not do much because of our unprofessional planning. We spend some time in Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach, a tiny beach near Fort Pierce. That's it. I think everyone enjoyed the beach day. Some of us enjoyed swimming in Atlantic. I am not a swimming person, technically I didn't even touch the water.

I had a little fight with Lipa that morning so the day was kind of off for both of us. I took some pictures but compared to opportunity it was negligible. Daytona, Cocoa all famous beaches! I just come up with little over hundred pictures. Anyway, the day was not that bad we had plan to attend night life of Ft. Lauderdale. Unfortunately it was Christmas day and everything was closed so we kind of spend time on Hotel room and Ft. Lauderdale beach.

Christmas Florida road trip (Day III)

Florida road trip (Day II)

Our initial plan was to go to Savannah, GA first but after first day we realize it would be too exotic plan. So headed toward Titusville, FL directly. We stopped by Columbus, GA in the middle. Columbus, GA was okay but not too much exciting during winter.

Most important event was I loose control over myself and went crazy on Adnan. So that defines the fate of our entire road trip. Well in my opinion the it could be better but we had our own moments.

Christmas Florida road trip (Day II)

Day I of our Christmas Florida road trip was good. We started from Norman, OK around 10 am in the morning. Our drivers drove like crazy and we reached Fort Smith, AR around 12 o'clock. Our next stop was Memphis, TN. By the time we reached Fort Smith, we realized if we drive like crazy our MPG gone crazy as well. So we decided to slow down a bit and we reached Memphis, TN around 5 pm. We spend some time in Memphis. While we were in Memphis we heard a good news and we decided to celebrate it; so we did. We started toward Birmingham, AL around 10 pm and reached around 2 am in the morning. That's our first day. We pretty much driving like crazy. But cover maximum distance in our first day.

There is not much things to do while you are behind the wheel. But we chatted with each other, know each other a little bit and get ready for the next days. Since it was the day before Christmas the Beale street (Memphis) was boring and no one was there except us. The day was good except few minor discrepancies.
